Friends and neighbors gathered at the community clubhouse for a Thanksgiving kick off to the holiday season. Once again, our “Turkey crew” created a lovely evening with beautiful decorations, delicious food, laughter, and Christmas Carols. Thank to all our volunteers who made this such a special event. It’s no easy task cooking for 100, but they did a wonderful job and it was so nice to see so many neighbors come to enjoy it. Check out the gallery for more photos from this event and have a wonderful holiday season!
Our September Ladies Night hosted a High Tea to welcome new neighbors to community. Various teas, sandwiches and desserts were served on beautiful china and the clubhouse decorated with beautiful flower bouquets picked from neighborhood gardens. Thanks to those who put so much effort into creating a lovely evening for the ladies in our neighborhood. The ladies group meets for a potluck dinner at 6PM the 2nd Tuesday of every month at the club house.
This year at Shorefest, many friends and neighbors gathered at the “Surf Shack”/“Tiki Bar” to enjoy good music, food and fun. This year’s theme was so the music, food and décor all had a Jimmy Buffet vibe.
Bingo night was a great success. About 50 people came and what fun we all had. We plan to do this again after the holidays. Watch for the sign on the reader board or on the website.
Shorefest “Hippie Daze” was a fun time for all ages! Local band, The Harlan Davis Project, played music all afternoon for everyone to enjoy. The giant slip n’ slide was a hit again this year with the kids as well as jump rope, hula hoop, and midnight swim. Danya, Mike and Jason did a wonderful job smoking up a delicious chicken and brat lunch served with their special coleslaw, beans and cake. It was fun to see everyone having a good time dressed in their hippie attire. Take a look at our “Hippie Daze” picture gallery to see all the fun times shared with friends and neighbors.
