Our Shorecrest friends and neighbors seemed to have enjoyed the return of our outdoor events this spring and summer. The pool parties were so fun with the weather perfect and Shorefest did not disappoint as we witnessed brave young souls slippin’ down the water slide. That is when they weren’t busy checking out our new playground equipment or beating those cute pinatas. Thank-you to the wonderful volunteers here in Shorecrest who donated so much time and energy to our activities. We have many talented neighbors
here in Shorecrest from musicians, chefs, pinata makers, gardeners, photographers (check new and old pictures in our photo gallery under Neighborhood) to gophers, we appreciate all that you do to enhance our neighborhood!
With the cooler weather of fall fast approaching and COVID cases increasing we may need to reconsider our future larger indoor activities. For now, the pool will remain open, weather permitting, with limited hours due to school reopening. Also, our community garden continues to harvest each week providing free fresh produce, herbs, flowers and other surprises so don’t forget to stop by on Wednesdays to see what’s available.
Be safe everyone!
