Last year we had a Chili and Hot Dog menu. This year it was decided to take it a step further and do a “CHILI COOK-OFF”. Activity committee members who volunteered to make chili were: Jenn (Mike), Janet, Kristi, Carolynne, Kathy and Shorecrest. Be thinking of a short name to describe your chili so we can label it. (Example: “Hot & Spicy Chili” or “Lots of Bean Chili”). Each chili will bring its own flavor to the event and should be a fun addition to the party. I will work on organizing how to advertise, serve samples and record votes.

In additional to chili, we will also serve grilled hot dogs. Nancy brought up that Costco Signature hotdogs were pretty good. I did a little research and found that they were rated very well and since they will only cost a few more dollars, I will purchase these for the party!

We will have cookies and/or brownies for dessert along with fresh fruit. Sally volunteered to bake some cookies or brownies but we will need more. Let me know if you are interested in doing some baking for this event!
