What a fun day at the park! This year the activities group served BBQ’d pork ribs, made with a special rub and sauce made by Kim Maggi. They were delicious! We also served hot dogs, polish dogs, Corn on the cob, mac ‘n cheese, baked beans and so much more.

It must have been good as we had very little left over at the end of the party! The band “Pleasure Hounds”, featuring Shorecrest’s James Harlan on the piano and guitar, did a great job playing great music from 1 – 4pm. Once again, the kiddo’s enjoyed the slip ‘n slide and spent the day going back and forth from the slide to the pool. I’m pretty sure they all slept well that night. We sold raffle tickets for beautiful beach quilts made and donated by Jennifer Cunan, also gift baskets by Jennifer Cunan and Janet Martini. Between the bake sale, bar sales, the raffles, and fresh flower sales, we have made enough money to start shopping for new appliances for the clubhouse. A big THANK YOU to our activities group and the many volunteers who came to help cook, grill, set up and take down! When we have so many willing volunteers it goes so much faster!
